The recent amendments to labor legislation that have followed from the previous edition are significant, leaving a strong imprint on the new labor law. In particular, the issuance of the Code of Individual Labor Law (presidential decree 82/2022) is important, as are the provisions of the new law 5053/2023, which are not mere amendments but can be said to lead to a new understanding of individual labor relations. The new regulations also include other lesser significant provisions from various laws. Developments are also reflected in newer EU directives, among which particularly significant is the provision for a legislatively defined minimum wage.
