The board game Witness – The Treasure Of Othesis by Pegasus Spiele is a cooperative strategy game for four players, featuring eight consecutive cases that form a single adventure. Players take on the roles of members of the secret Witness Agency and try to solve the mystery of an archaeologist’s murder and find the treasure of Othesis.
In each case, players read an introduction and study clues individually. Over four rounds, they whisper information to one another and try to remember what they have learned before writing down what they recall and secretly answering three questions. The adventure continues in the deserts of Egypt, where they encounter a gang of criminals led by their eternal rival, the “Chameleon.”
