The Gold classic is the top cane from Rigotti. Rigotti owes its reputation to the quality of its materials. The canes from the Var and Cogolin regions of France are among the best in the world. They grow beside rivers and streams in a large area that is cultivated year-round.

After two years of maturation, when their height is 7-8 meters and the diameter is 26-32 cm, they are cut in winter. After processing, only 2-3 meters from the base are kept, and the rest is either burned or used as bamboo. The tubes are then cut, and the nodes are removed.
