The Sela Cabasas offer a sturdy and durable construction made from black lacquered pine wood. The handle is additionally covered with soft foam to ensure an excellent grip even during extended use.

They are available in two versions with diameters of 60 mm or 115 mm, providing versatile options for different playing styles and intensity levels. The many metal beads produce a distinct, rattling sound with the twisting of the handle or the rhythmic shaking of the cabasa, harmonizing seamlessly with many different genres of music.

Like maracas, the cabasa is often used for percussion accompaniment in samba ensembles, jazz bands, pop music, and more. The Sela Cabasas are suitable for both studio recordings and live performances, catering equally to beginners and experienced musicians.

In addition to its use primarily in Latin American music, the cabasa has also established itself in music education and music therapy. This makes the Sela Cabasas ideal instruments for percussionists, drummers, bands, ensembles, and music schools.
