The Novation Launchkey 25 MK4 MIDI controller is designed for controlling music production software and virtual instruments. It connects via USB-MIDI and features a 5-pin MIDI output for connecting external devices. Scale, Chord, Chord Map and Arpeggiator functions are included for creating melodies, chords and rhythmic patterns.

The 16 RGB pads with polyphonic aftertouch, OLED display and rotary encoders provide controls for software parameters. It supports transport controls such as Play, Stop, Record and Loop, as well as Capture MIDI, Undo, Quantize and Metronome.
