Description

AngelTown, WaterCity, Byzantium, Istantioum, Genial, Moscow – cities of the mind and imagination, cities with physical substance and capitals in the spectral realms of simulation.

In the world of the late twenty-first century, Europe, now weak, is reduced to the role of a vast theme park. There, people, with the help of artificial intelligence, live as citizen-exhibits within faithful revivals of historical periods, denying their contemporary reality.

At the same time, the advancements in technology, driven by the magnate Devendra Puri, have allowed even the last individual stronghold, consciousness, to become a tradable commodity, a set of data that can be transferred from body to body.

Within this environment, the executive Niko Mavridis, the security officer Vika Cortez, and the medium-guru Ignati Vasilyevich Rostov struggle to survive and maintain their human nature, constantly changing cities, eras, flesh, and identities.

They are the Impossible Cities of an extreme form of existence, where anything can happen and where nothing is off the table. A hell that resembles an inverted paradise, at the depth of a shattered mirror.
