The PSYCHOPATH is not the paranoid, the schizophrenic, the manic-depressive, etc., as many of us may think. He is an ordinary type that you have encountered in social gatherings, in your relationships with the opposite sex, at work; you have seen him in public life, in the artistic or athletic field, and of course on the internet.

You have not recognized him because you lack the knowledge and the ability to evaluate the symptoms of the psychopathic personality.

In your first encounters with him, you do not conceive that you are dealing with a dangerous individual who makes victims of those associated with him and destroys their lives. The first impressions he creates can be very positive.

The goal is not his –incredibly difficult– treatment, but to avoid falling victim to him.
