Deep within the unexplored corridors of the dungeon, a corpse is discovered—one that should not exist. After the resurrection of Iarumas, the memories of life before death have vanished, and he spends his days exploring the dungeon to reclaim the bodies of fallen adventurers. Can they be resurrected too? Or will God reduce them to piles of ash on the altar? Either way, Iarumas collects his reward.
Although his skills earn him some respect, he also faces disdain for his cold, utilitarian attitude. The living keep their distance—the Iarumas primarily interacts with the dead. This continues until he meets Garbage, a wild young swordswoman who is the sole survivor of a massacre.
With Garbage by his side, Iarumas ventures deeper, searching the dungeon for clues about his past, avoiding monsters, traps, and the inevitable permanent ash.
