The Ironwood board game by Mindclash Games is an asymmetrical tactical card game for 1–2 players, centered on the conflict between the Ironclad and the Woodwalkers for control of the land of Ironwood. The two factions use Larimor Crystals in different ways: the Ironclad power their machines with the crystals’ energy, while the Woodwalkers use their magic to reclaim three ancient totems and summon the Guardian.
Each round, players take turns playing from among three cards from their faction to perform actions such as moving units, starting battles, and mining crystals. In battles, the same cards are used for their combat values, with simultaneous bidding for bonuses, losses, and increased unit Dominance.
