After testing the Theragun Prime Plus, I have the following points to note, always in comparison with the Theragun Elite.
1: It bounces on the body as it is lighter than the Elite. This can be slightly corrected by applying it at a 45° angle.
2: The Dampener head, because the Prime Plus is smaller in size, resembles more the standard ball head of the Elite, resulting in it not being a painless, soft head.
3: With the slightest pressure, it displays a High Press message.
4: Although the power of the two devices (16mm depth, 40lbs force) is identical, in practice, the treatment is a combination of "Motor Power + Device Weight." Precisely because the stability of the heavier frame is missing, the energy is dispersed in the bounces and is not transferred 100% vertically and "heavily" to the muscle, making me feel that it does not do the same job as the Elite.
5: Even the heated head is similar in size to the standard ball of the Elite. Of course, this was done intentionally so that its metal/thermal surface properly distributes the heat deep into the tissue simultaneously with the percussion.
If I had known all this, I would obviously have bought the Pro Plus model, even though it has reviews saying it is heavy.
On the positive side, I recognize the following in the Prime Plus:
1: Greater portability convenience,
2: The fact that it is silent.
3: The new feature it offers with the heated head, which contributes to faster recovery.
Τελικά το theragun prime plus μετά την δοκιμή του έχω να επισημάνω τα εξής σε σύγκριση πάντα με το Theragun elite.
1: Κάνει μεταπηδήσεις στο σώμα καθώς είναι ελαφρύτερο απ το elite. Διορθώνεται ελαφρώς με γωνία 45° μοιρών κατά την εφαρμογή.
2: Η κεφαλή Dampener λόγω του ότι το prime plus ειναι μικρότερο μέγεθος, περισσότερο μοιάζει με την κεφαλή standard ball του elite με αποτέλεσμα να μήν είναι μια ανώδυνη μαλακή κεφαλή.
3: Με την παραμικρή πίεση εμφανίζει μήνυμα High press.
4:Ενώ η ισχύς των δύο μηχανημάτων (16mm βάθος, 40lbs δύναμη) είναι ταυτόσημη, στην πράξη όμως, η θεραπεία είναι συνδυασμός «Ισχύος Μοτέρ + Βάρους Συσκευής. Ακριβώς επειδή λείπει η σταθερότητα (stability) του βαρύτερου σκελετού, η ενέργεια διασκορπίζεται στις αναπηδήσεις και δεν μεταφέρεται 100% κάθετα και "βαριά" στον μυ, κάνοντάς με να νιώθω ότι δεν κάνει την ίδια δουλειά με το Elite.
5: Ακόμη και η κεφαλή που θερμαίνεται μοιάζει σε μέγεθος με την Standard ball του elite. Βέβαια αυτό έγινε εσκεμμένα προκειμένου η μεταλλική/θερμική επιφάνειά της να διανέμει σωστά τη θερμότητα βαθιά στον ιστό ταυτόχρονα με την κρούση.
Αν τα γνώριζα όλα αυτά προφανως και θα έπαιρνα το Pro plus μοντέλο και ας έχει κριτικές ότι είναι βαρύ.
Στα θετικά αναγνωρίζω στο prime plus.
1: μεγαλύτερη άνεση φορητότητας του,
2: Το γεγονός ότι είναι αθόρυβο.
3: Τη νέα δυνατότητα που προσφέρει με την θερμαινόμενη κεφαλή η οποία συμβάλει σε ταχύτερη αποθεραπεία.
