Type 590 consists of a tough, tear-resistant soft PVC film, coated with a very aggressive, aging-resistant natural rubber adhesive. Grade 590 is waterproof, cold and moisture resistant, as well as resistant to oils, alkalis, acids, and many other chemicals. It has VDE approval and is flame retardant.
Application:
Grade 590 is used for packaging, repairing, and marking wires, and for securing wires and other materials to beams, stages, etc.
