The commemorative volume dedicated to Elder Eusebius Vittis is a unique work of historical and pastoral significance by the prolific Metropolitan, as it presents his fifteen years of priestly service of the blessed Hieromonk and his missionary zeal for the organization, the construction of churches, and the pastoral care of the Greek Orthodox diaspora throughout Scandinavia.
His holy zeal for establishing the Orthodox Church in the northern countries was the seed for the flourishing Greek Orthodox diaspora, which now bears abundant fruit.
The work includes interesting details of the blessed Elder's life, unpublished bibliographic archives, divinely inspired sermons and spiritually nourishing writings, as well as rich material related to the monastery of St. Nicholas founded by him in Rättvik, which is a place of pilgrimage for the faithful.
