I used it mainly to cut iron (even quite thick pieces, either for convenience or in places where a grinder couldn't reach) and it performed very well. It comes with 2-3 blades inside but they're useless, don't use them at all, you'll be at risk (for example, the one I have for thick iron cost 20€, a Milwaukee one, one of the best on the market). You do feel that it's not top quality from a major brand, but it doesn't give you any reason to believe it will break or not do its job well. The wattage is very high, it has 4 speeds and I don't even dare to use the second one (of course, iron needs low RPM anyway, I guess wood needs higher RPM for example). Overall, for what it offers, it's one of the very cheap ones (it's quite bulky, nothing like those handheld ones you may have seen with a battery). If you're looking for something very powerful, cheap, and sturdy, you can try it. I would easily buy it again.
