Description

The Endgame Gear XM2w 4k is a wireless & wired gaming mouse designed for both hands, with an optical sensor and a resolution of 26000 DPI. It features 7 buttons.

While the external shape remained identical to the famous XM claw grip shape, the interior was redesigned to achieve a lower overall weight of ~62 g while maintaining a sturdy shell design without holes. The XM2w 4k has been developed by esports veterans for use in competitive gaming, with top-tier components such as the PixArt PAW3395 sensor, the wireless Nordic nRF52840 MCU, and Endgame Gear's exclusive Kailh GX SPDT switches with GX Mode compatibility.

Wireless polling rate up to 4000Hz

For achieving the best possible performance, the XM2w 4k is powered by the wireless MCU Nordic nRF52840. The 4k dongle uses a Nordic nRF52820 to ensure stable and reliable wireless data transmissions. Additionally, a Nuvoton M483 MCU is used for high-speed USB connection, allowing high wireless polling rates of up to 4000 Hz for incredibly low sensor and click latency. The 4k dongle is included with the mouse for optimal performance straight out of the box.

Industry-leading click latency

Our XM2w 4k sets a new standard for wireless performance with click latency averaging below 310 microseconds*. With a consistent polling rate of 4000 Hz for clicks, you will experience extremely low click latency, regardless of the sensor's polling rate you choose. This exceptional responsiveness ensures that every click is registered immediately, giving you a competitive edge and winning you decisive duels.

PixArt 3395 Sensor

The response of the XM2w 4k is significantly improved with the implementation of the PixArt PAW3395, which features a higher resolution pixel array and up to 26000 CPI, lift-off distance up to 1 millimeter, and up to 650 IPS for optimal accuracy during the fastest scanning. The PAW3395 also offers sensor-level MotionSync for consistent and synchronized reports. With smoothing and angle snapping disabled, the tracking data from the sensor is as raw as possible. Power-saving features are completely disabled (wired mode), extracting every last bit of performance from the XM2w 4k.

Kailh GX switches developed by Endgame Gear

Designed for lightning-fast precision at all polling rates, the Kailh GX mechanical switches ensure you won't miss a critical click. Their SPDT configuration ensures optimal electrical contact and unmatched reliability. Featuring contacts on both the top and bottom, the Kailh GX switches excel whether you prefer low latency clicks in GX Speed Mode or security in GX Safe Mode. What sets them apart is the crisp, defined click feel, offering tactile feedback for improved game control. Precise actuation and balanced design ensure flawless, spam-friendly rapid-fire actions.

Amazing shape, very nice clicks, among the best coatings but I changed 2 mice and both had minor issues...

The first one I bought was flawless, but after 2 weeks the left click became very loose to the point where it became annoying. From having no pretravel at all, it developed a lot, while the right click stayed as it was.

I returned it to the store and after two weeks they brought me another one. It didn't have side flex but it had a lot of creaking, when you pressed it a little the whole thing creaked and the scroll wheel moved a lot.

Of the mice I have—Viper V3 Pro, GPX2, GPX2 Dex, ASUS Harpe Ace, Vaxee XE, but also Chinese ones like Teevolution Terra, Waizowl Cloud, and OGM Pro V2—this one probably has the worst build quality while also being the heaviest at 63 grams. The store refused to give me a refund or replacement. The one time I bought something from Greece and I got burned.

    Verified purchase

Coming from the now old Roccat Kone Pro Air (on EGG-EMC-490), and being a fan of the classic design of the Inteli Mouse Explorer 3.0, I was very skeptical about the shape and how it would fit in my hand. It took about a week of getting used to it for me to fall in love.

Dedicated Shooter at 400DPI, with a recent upgrade from TN 1440p 144Hz to QD-OLED 4k@240Hz powered by an RTX 4090, I didn't believe the experience could be further upgraded. But it was:

    1) At 62g, 13 grams less than the Roccat, it makes a huge difference after 3 hours.
    2) S/W can't get more minimal. A simple exe that you run when you want to change something. No installation or need to run in the background.
    3) Amazing packaging with extra feet.
    4) Build quality and coating top-notch. Buttons have an excellent feel. Scroll wheel is very good, but over time it will show if the feel remains the same.
    5) Battery is very good.
    6) Polling rate. I saved this for last on purpose. Just like with the transition to OLED, I suddenly saw the lost information in my hand; something similar happened with the transition from 1000 Hz to 4000 Hz on a smaller scale, of course. Even in Windows, the difference is noticeable.

I will definitely buy a second one for backup.
