I knew from the very beginning that it wouldn't suit me for general use but I bought it. I'm a bit rough on things and the only mouse that had lasted for me was the MS designer's. The reason is the metal scroll wheel and the complete lack of 'feet' that come off and other such things. For the Logi MX mice, I read only the best things but everyone mentioned the build quality that would deteriorate after a while. Since I sweat quite a bit, I rejected it because I didn't want it to get ruined in the first few months.
Now, the grip here takes a bit of getting used to, but it is NOT much different from the also flat MS one. Yes, it's a bit flatter but OK. The big downside, however, is the lack of a middle click, which is essential nowadays. Just for websites, it's more than enough. I bought the Better Touch Tool app and kind of fixed it but still, it's not right. It's one thing to have a physical button and your finger is always on it, and another to have an approximate touch.
However, I can't overlook the huge advantage of the ENTIRE touch surface. Now I don't care where I scroll. The whole mouse works this way and it's a big plus.
As I see myself, by Easter I'll take the step and buy the Touchpad. From what I read, there you don't have any disadvantage.
A few days later, I searched Better Touch Tool and changed the setting so that the whole touch acts as a middle click. It became almost functional. Not 100% but it improved a lot. I won't change my rating due to ergonomics.
Ήξερα από την πρώτη στιγμή ότι δε θα με βολέψει για γενική χρήση αλλά το αγόρασα. Είμαι λίγο της καταστροφής και το μόνο ποντίκι που μου είχε αντέξει ήταν το designers της MS. Ο λόγος είναι η μεταλλική ροδέλα και η παντελής έλλειψη από "ποδαράκια" που ξεκολλάνε και άλλα τέτοια. Για τα ΜΧ της Logi διάβαζα τα καλύτερα μεν αλλά όλοι είχαν να πουν για την ποιότητα κατασκευής που μετά από λίγο ξέφτιζε. Επειδή ιδρώνω αρκετά το απέρριψα γιατί δεν ήθελα να γίνει χάλια από τους πρώτους μήνες.
Τώρα εδώ θέλει λίγο συνήθεια το κράτημα που όμως ΔΕΝ διαφέρει και πολύ από το επίσης flat της MS. Ναι είναι λίγο πιο επίπεδο αλλά ΟΚ. Το μεγάλο μείον όμως είναι η έλλειψη μεσαίου κλικ που είναι απαραίτητη στην σημερινή εποχή. Μόνο και μόνο για τις ιστοσελίδες φτάνει και περισσεύει. Αγόρασα την εφαρμογή Better Touch Tool και το ψιλοέφτιαξα αλλά και πάλι δεν είναι σωστό. Άλλο να έχεις ένα φυσικό κουμπί και να είναι μόνιμα πάνω το δάχτυλο και άλλο μια κατά προσέγγιση αφή.
Όμως δε μπορώ να μην σταθώ στο τεράστιο πλεονέκτημα της ΟΛΟΚΛΗΡΗΣ επιφάνειας αφής. Πλέον δε με νοιάζει το που θα σκρολάρω. Όλο το ποντίκι δουλεύει έτσι και είναι ένα μεγάλο συν.
Όπως με βλέπω το Πάσχα θα κάνω το βήμα και θα αγοράσω το Touchpad. Εκεί απ' ότι διαβάζω δεν έχεις κανένα μειονέκτημα.
Λίγες μέρες μετά έψαξα το Better Touch Tool και άλλαξα την ρύθμιση ώστε η όλη η αφή να δουλεύει σαν μεσαίο κλικ. Έγινε σχεδόν λειτουργικό. Όχι 100% αλλά βελτιώθηκε αρκετά. Δεν αλλάζω βαθμολογία λόγω εργονομίας.
