The plates feature a wide mesh that facilitates drying as well as cleaning. To dehydrate food, wash and thoroughly dry the food, then cut it into thin slices. Spread them on the levels of the plate, leaving space between them for air circulation.

Place the plates in a well-ventilated area with direct sunlight. If necessary, cover the food with a clean cloth or mesh for protection from insects.
