I received today the New Professional Video Camera Sony PXW-Z200 to upgrade my videography.
The immediately previous one I gave two weeks ago was the Sony AX33.
I just unboxed this one now. I haven't tried it yet...
But as a first contact with the camera, for me who is just a beginner, an amateur, who is crazy about video and photography, it is the best thing that has passed through my hands so far.

The one factory battery that was included was completely empty as soon as I pressed the button on it, the "Check."
I pressed the button, and the 4 dots on the battery lit up "Red," but that's okay.
I immediately put it on charge with the factory charger, and I believe it charged in no time.
However, I won't give 4 stars because the whole package of the order arrived Extremely Professionally as we say.
The quality of the box with its contents inside is excellent...
But I could say there was a lot of paperwork.
Many manual booklets as you will see in the 5th photo.

Now the only thing I am waiting to receive from an offshore store is the following extras that are worth purchasing additionally:
* A protective film for the small screen of the video camera.
* A large bag that can hold the video camera along with the 2 microphones installed on it.
(so I don't have to keep putting in and taking out the microphones from the video camera every time)
If you choose, of course, to place a 2nd microphone on the video camera along with the 1st microphone.
* A 2nd spare battery...
I ordered the BP-U100 with a capacity of 6,800mAh
(while the factory battery in the box of the video camera is 2,320mAh)
Which means that a 2nd spare battery is needed because you never know if it will last during the X recording where you will be (e.g., at a music concert).
* One or two adapters for your microphones:
"3Pin XLR Female to 3.5mm Jack TRS Male"
Because the video camera does NOT have a port for microphones with 3.5mm Jack wiring.
Only 2 XLR ports.
So you will need to modify your microphone cable to connect it to the video camera at the XLR port.
Thus, you will look for the adapter:
"3Pin XLR Female to 3.5mm Jack TRS Male."

And once you acquire the above EXTRAS for the video camera, which are NOT included with the factory package, you are ready to do amazing things as we say.
Also, as I mentioned above about the 2 microphones, you can place either 1 microphone or 2 microphones together, and operate both together or just one if you want, depending on what you need.
In general, however, I do not regret purchasing this video camera at all.
If you don't mind its weight (unless you have a tripod), and its bulk, this video camera is one that I recommend with my eyes closed.
The photos do not do the video camera justice at all.
When you see it up close, you will go WOW.
It is simply a "beast."

Παρελαβα σημερα την Νεα Επαγγελματικη Βιντεοκαμερα Sony PXW-Z200 για να αναβαθμιστώ στις Βιντεολήψεις μου.
Η Αμεσως προηγουμενη που εδωσα προ 2 εβδομαδων ηταν η Sony AX33.
Αυτη τωρα μολις την ξεπακέταρα. Ακομα δεν την εχω δοκιμασει...
Αλλα σαν 1η επαφη με την καμερα, για μενα που ειμαι απλα ενας αρχάριος, ερασιτέχνης, που εχει τρέλλα με το Βίντεο και την φωτογραφία, είναι ότι καλύτερο έχει περάσει μέχρι στιγμής από τα χέρια μου.

Η μια Εργοστασιακη Μπαταρία που υπηρχε μέν, ήταν άδεια τελειως μόλις πάτησα το κουμπάκι επανω της, το "Check".
Πάτησα το κουμπακι, και μου αναψαν "Κόκκινο" οι 4 βούλες επάνω στην μπαταρία, αλλα δε πειράζει.
Την έβαλα αμέσως για φόρτιση με τον εργοστασιακό φορτιστή, και φορτίστηκε θεωρώ σε χρόνο 0'.
Δεν θα βάλω όμως 4 Αστέρια, γιατί όλο το πακέτο της παραγγελίας, μου ήρθε Άκρως Επαγγελματικά που λέμε.
Άριστης ποιότητας η κούτα με τα περιεχόμενα της μέσα...
Αλλά πολύ χαρτούρα θα μπορούσα να πώ.
Πολλά Manual βιβλιαράκια όπως θα δείτε στην 5η φωτογραφία.

Τωρα το μόνο που περιμένω να παραλάβω, απο Off-Shore καταστημα, ειναι τα εξης Extra που αξιζει να αγορασει επιπλεον κάποιος:
* Μεμβρανη προστασιας για την μικρή οθονη της Βιντεοκάμερας.
* Μια μεγάλη τσάντα, που να χωράει την βιντεοκάμερα μαζί με τα 2 μικρόφωνα εγκατεστημενα επανω της.
(να μην εχω βάλε-βγάλε καθε φορα τα μικρόφωνα στην βιντεοκάμερα)
Εαν επιλέξετε φυσικά να τοποθετησετε και 2ο μικρόφωνο στην βιντεοκάμερα παρέα με το 1ο μικρόφωνο.
* Μια 2η Εφεδρική μπαταρία...
Εγω παρήγγειλα την BP-U100 χωρητικότητας 6.800mAh
(ενω η Εργοστασιακή μπαταρια στην κούτα της Βιντεοκάμερας είναι 2.320mAh)
Πραγμα που σημαίνει, οτι μια 2η Εφεδρική μπαταρία χρειάζεται, γιατί ποτέ δε ξέρεις αν θα σε φτάσει κατά την Χ βιντεοσκόπηση εκεί που θα βρίσκεσαι (πχ σε μια Μουσική Συναυλία).
* Έναν ή δυο Αντάπτορες για το/τα Μικροφωνα σας:
"3Pin XLR Female to 3.5mm Jack TRS Male"
Γιατι η Βιντεοκάμερα ΔΕΝ διαθετει υποδοχη-Θύρα για Μικροφωνα με καλωδίωση 3.5mm Jack.
Παρά μόνο 2 υποδοχες XLR.
Αρα θα πρεπει να τροποποιήσετε το καλωδιο του μικροφωνου σας, για να συνδεθεί στην βιντεοκάμερα στην υποδοχη XLR.
Έτσι θα τον ψάξετε τον αντάπτορα:
"3Pin XLR Female to 3.5mm Jack TRS Male".

Kαι μολις αποκτήσετε τα παραπάνω ΕΞΤΡΑ για την βιντεοκάμερα, τα οποια ΔΕΝ συμπεριλαμβάνονται με το εργοστασιακό πακέτο, είστε έτοιμοι να κάνετε παπάδες που λέμε.
Επίσης παραπάνω που ανέφερα για τα 2 μικρόφωνα, μπορείτε να τοποθετήσετε είτε 1 μικρόφωνο, είτε 2 μικρόφωνα μαζί, και να τα λειτουργείτε και τα 2 μαζί ή μόνο το 1 εαν θέλετε, ανάλογα τι ζητάτε.
Σε γενικές γραμμές πάντως, δεν μετάνιωσα για την αγορά αυτής της βιντεοκάμερας καθόλου.
Εαν δεν σας πειράζει το βάρος της, (εκτος και εχετε Τρίποδο), και ο όγκος της, αυτή η βιντεοκάμερα, είναι που σας την προτείνω με τα μάτια κλειστά.
Οι Φωτογραφίες πάντως την αδικούν πολύ την βιντεοκάμερα.
Όταν την δείτε από κοντά, θα κάνετε ΟΥΑΑΑΟΥ.
Πρόκειται για "Θηρίο" απλά.

Kαι μολις αποκτήσετε τα παραπάνω ΕΞΤΡΑ για την βιντεοκάμερα, τα οποια ΔΕΝ συμπεριλαμβάνονται με το εργοστασιακό πακέτο, είστε έτοιμοι να κάνετε παπάδες που λέμε.
Επίσης παραπάνω που ανέφερα για τα 2 μικρόφωνα, μπορείτε να τοποθετήσετε είτε 1 μικρόφωνο, είτε 2 μικρόφωνα μαζί, και να τα λειτουργείτε και τα 2 μαζί ή μόνο το 1 εαν θέλετε, ανάλογα τι ζητάτε.
Σε γενικές γραμμές πάντως, δεν μετάνιωσα για την αγορά αυτής της βιντεοκάμερας καθόλου.
Εαν δεν σας πειράζει το βάρος της, (εκτος και εχετε Τρίποδο), και ο όγκος της, αυτή η βιντεοκάμερα, είναι που σας την προτείνω με τα μάτια κλειστά.
Οι Φωτογραφίες πάντως την αδικούν πολύ την βιντεοκάμερα.
Όταν την δείτε από κοντά, θα κάνετε ΟΥΑΑΑΟΥ.
Πρόκειται για "Θηρίο" απλά.

I received today the New Professional Video Camera Sony PXW-Z200 to upgrade my videography.
The immediately previous one I gave two weeks ago was the Sony AX33.
I just unboxed this one now. I haven't tried it yet...
But as a first contact with the camera, for me who is just a beginner, an amateur, who is crazy about video and photography, it is the best thing that has passed through my hands so far.

The one factory battery that was included was completely empty as soon as I pressed the button on it, the "Check."
I pressed the button, and the 4 dots on the battery lit up "Red," but that's okay.
I immediately put it on charge with the factory charger, and I believe it charged in no time.
However, I won't give 4 stars because the whole package of the order arrived Extremely Professionally as we say.
The quality of the box with its contents inside is excellent...
But I could say there was a lot of paperwork.
Many manual booklets as you will see in the 5th photo.

Now the only thing I am waiting to receive from an offshore store is the following extras that are worth purchasing additionally:
* A protective film for the small screen of the video camera.
* A large bag that can hold the video camera along with the 2 microphones installed on it.
(so I don't have to keep putting in and taking out the microphones from the video camera every time)
If you choose, of course, to place a 2nd microphone on the video camera along with the 1st microphone.
* A 2nd spare battery...
I ordered the BP-U100 with a capacity of 6,800mAh
(while the factory battery in the box of the video camera is 2,320mAh)
Which means that a 2nd spare battery is needed because you never know if it will last during the X recording where you will be (e.g., at a music concert).
* One or two adapters for your microphones:
"3Pin XLR Female to 3.5mm Jack TRS Male"
Because the video camera does NOT have a port for microphones with 3.5mm Jack wiring.
Only 2 XLR ports.
So you will need to modify your microphone cable to connect it to the video camera at the XLR port.
Thus, you will look for the adapter:
"3Pin XLR Female to 3.5mm Jack TRS Male."

And once you acquire the above EXTRAS for the video camera, which are NOT included with the factory package, you are ready to do amazing things as we say.
Also, as I mentioned above about the 2 microphones, you can place either 1 microphone or 2 microphones together, and operate both together or just one if you want, depending on what you need.
In general, however, I do not regret purchasing this video camera at all.
If you don't mind its weight (unless you have a tripod), and its bulk, this video camera is one that I recommend with my eyes closed.
The photos do not do the video camera justice at all.
When you see it up close, you will go WOW.
It is simply a "beast."

Παρελαβα σημερα την Νεα Επαγγελματικη Βιντεοκαμερα Sony PXW-Z200 για να αναβαθμιστώ στις Βιντεολήψεις μου.
Η Αμεσως προηγουμενη που εδωσα προ 2 εβδομαδων ηταν η Sony AX33.
Αυτη τωρα μολις την ξεπακέταρα. Ακομα δεν την εχω δοκιμασει...
Αλλα σαν 1η επαφη με την καμερα, για μενα που ειμαι απλα ενας αρχάριος, ερασιτέχνης, που εχει τρέλλα με το Βίντεο και την φωτογραφία, είναι ότι καλύτερο έχει περάσει μέχρι στιγμής από τα χέρια μου.

Η μια Εργοστασιακη Μπαταρία που υπηρχε μέν, ήταν άδεια τελειως μόλις πάτησα το κουμπάκι επανω της, το "Check".
Πάτησα το κουμπακι, και μου αναψαν "Κόκκινο" οι 4 βούλες επάνω στην μπαταρία, αλλα δε πειράζει.
Την έβαλα αμέσως για φόρτιση με τον εργοστασιακό φορτιστή, και φορτίστηκε θεωρώ σε χρόνο 0'.
Δεν θα βάλω όμως 4 Αστέρια, γιατί όλο το πακέτο της παραγγελίας, μου ήρθε Άκρως Επαγγελματικά που λέμε.
Άριστης ποιότητας η κούτα με τα περιεχόμενα της μέσα...
Αλλά πολύ χαρτούρα θα μπορούσα να πώ.
Πολλά Manual βιβλιαράκια όπως θα δείτε στην 5η φωτογραφία.

Τωρα το μόνο που περιμένω να παραλάβω, απο Off-Shore καταστημα, ειναι τα εξης Extra που αξιζει να αγορασει επιπλεον κάποιος:
* Μεμβρανη προστασιας για την μικρή οθονη της Βιντεοκάμερας.
* Μια μεγάλη τσάντα, που να χωράει την βιντεοκάμερα μαζί με τα 2 μικρόφωνα εγκατεστημενα επανω της.
(να μην εχω βάλε-βγάλε καθε φορα τα μικρόφωνα στην βιντεοκάμερα)
Εαν επιλέξετε φυσικά να τοποθετησετε και 2ο μικρόφωνο στην βιντεοκάμερα παρέα με το 1ο μικρόφωνο.
* Μια 2η Εφεδρική μπαταρία...
Εγω παρήγγειλα την BP-U100 χωρητικότητας 6.800mAh
(ενω η Εργοστασιακή μπαταρια στην κούτα της Βιντεοκάμερας είναι 2.320mAh)
Πραγμα που σημαίνει, οτι μια 2η Εφεδρική μπαταρία χρειάζεται, γιατί ποτέ δε ξέρεις αν θα σε φτάσει κατά την Χ βιντεοσκόπηση εκεί που θα βρίσκεσαι (πχ σε μια Μουσική Συναυλία).
* Έναν ή δυο Αντάπτορες για το/τα Μικροφωνα σας:
"3Pin XLR Female to 3.5mm Jack TRS Male"
Γιατι η Βιντεοκάμερα ΔΕΝ διαθετει υποδοχη-Θύρα για Μικροφωνα με καλωδίωση 3.5mm Jack.
Παρά μόνο 2 υποδοχες XLR.
Αρα θα πρεπει να τροποποιήσετε το καλωδιο του μικροφωνου σας, για να συνδεθεί στην βιντεοκάμερα στην υποδοχη XLR.
Έτσι θα τον ψάξετε τον αντάπτορα:
"3Pin XLR Female to 3.5mm Jack TRS Male".
