The SETI: Search For Extraterrestrial Intelligence board game is a strategy game for 1–4 players, who are tasked with guiding a scientific institution in its search for traces of extraterrestrial life. Players explore nearby planets and their moons, launching probes from Earth and making use of the planets’ changing positions. They can land to collect samples or remain in orbit for broader research, while their telescopes search for alien signals and exoplanets in distant star systems.

Players upgrade their equipment to analyze data more effectively, boost their telescopes’ signal capacity, and increase their resource supply. More than 200 cards, featuring unique effects and illustrations based on real technologies, projects, and discoveries, support their efforts or steer research in specific directions with additional bonuses and rewards.
