I named us Love, like the ones that unexpectedly find you. And this Love brought me here, to write to you about all the things you refused to hear. This Love stood before you, helpless to react to your anger, but it stood with all the strength it had in a hope for your return that never happened. This same Love healed me and forgave you. It killed me and resurrected me when everything around me diminished, even my breaths. For this Love that was accused, that exhausted itself shouting the why's... For this Love that everyone searches for and we had, it was worth it that Once upon a time... we existed. A book about the battles each person fights alone, defenseless in front of the insurmountable love. A confession of the soul and a hope that life leaves no remnants of happiness to anyone.

AUTHOR BIOGRAPHY

Konstandina Alberti was born in Thessaloniki but has lived in Athens since her early days. She moved with her family to Rome and returned to Greece when she was 15 years old. She studied medicine and chose the field of Anesthesiology. However, soon the arts won her over. She is a radio producer and wrote her first book in 2017 titled Raspberry Tea, which was awarded as well as herself by Unesco Piraeus and Islands. Since 2014, she has been in charge of publications at three publishing houses. She engages in public relations for theatrical producers and has been a production manager for many shows and series. The Once upon a time... we existed is set to become a theatrical play. She has a great love for animals and is active in animal welfare organizations.
