Beginner, I have nothing to compare it with. I started with the yellow and coarse compound and polished with the purple. The final result is very good. You need at least 2 to do a whole car; if you push it somewhere at high speed, it will break. The purple hard one is recommended by the company for European cars and the soft one for Japanese cars
