The Axagon PCEU-232RS card adds four 5 Gbps USB ports to a desktop computer via a PCI-Express connection. The two external USB-A ports let you connect peripherals, while the internal 19-pin header provides two additional USB ports for an internal card reader or the computer case’s front USB ports. The 15-pin SATA power connector connects the card to the computer’s power supply.

The Renesas PD720201 controller supports UASP and connecting or disconnecting USB devices while the computer is running. The card supports USB 3.2 Gen 2 and is backward compatible with USB 2.0 and USB 1.1. The package includes a low-profile bracket for installation in low-profile cases.
