In 2002, Vox introduced the revolutionary "Blue" Valvetronix and their amplifiers. They featured an innovative preamp section that combined a "Valve Reactor" circuit powered by 12AX7 with digital sound modeling to recreate the sound of sixteen of the world's most iconic guitar amplifiers. The Vox AD60VT and AD120VT amplifiers also included realistic simulations of ten classic "stomp box" pedals and a host of digital effects such as chorus, flanger, phaser, tremolo, rotary, echo (x3), and reverb (x3). Combinations of amplifier models, pedals, digital effects, and control settings could be stored in one of the 32 user programs for instant recall.
