Silent.... Rechargeable .... I forget to charge it.. I also have its previous model. I bought it as a second one because I am very satisfied with the first one too. It has 2 settings so you adjust it accordingly.. I find it comfortable on the high setting where it matches the natural movement of my wrist and so it stays still and does not tire at all. I would buy it again and again. I am an architect so I spend many hours on the computer.
