Vernilac Aquadur primer is a water-based filler primer for highly absorbent or open-grain wooden surfaces, as well as MDF, chipboard, particleboard, plasterboard, cement board and iron surfaces. It has a low VOC content, produces less odour during application and provides good adhesion. It is easy to sand and dries quickly, reducing the waiting time before applying the next coat of primer or paint.
It is used as a primer before VERNILAC AQUATONE L30 brush lacquer, as well as before one- or two-component lacquers, without softening or lifting. Before application, clean the surface of dust, oils, foreign matter and loose material, then sand it with suitable sandpaper. If needed, apply wood filler and sand the surface again. Stir the product thoroughly before and during application, which should be carried out at an ambient temperature of 8 °C to 35 °C.
