Screen Type

The two main categories are IPS and AMOLED.

2. The type of screen affects how vivid or realistic the colors are, how bright and easy to use outdoors in the sun, how distorted the image is when viewed at an angle, and how much battery it consumes.

TFT

Advancements in LCD technology offer greater clarity and even higher brightness in sunlight compared to standard LCDs, while maintaining realistic color representation.

They consume more battery compared to other types of screens and are heavier and bulkier.

Battery Capacity

-

Battery Capacity

Most activity trackers have a battery capacity of around 100mA. The size of the battery is not always indicative of its autonomy, as this largely depends on the characteristics of the activity tracker and the functions we have active. For example, an activity tracker with a large color touch screen and 24-hour heart rate monitoring will often require charging even if it has a larger battery than a simpler activity tracker.

Standby Time

-

Standby Time

The amount of time an activity tracker can operate in standby mode, simply connected to a mobile phone with one charge, varies depending on what each manufacturer defines as standby mode. The average is 10 days, but size becomes meaningful mainly in comparing products from the same manufacturer.

Operation Time

-

Operation Time

The amount of time an activity tracker can operate with basic functions activated on a full charge. An average is 7 days, but it depends on what each manufacturer defines as standby mode. The size makes sense mainly in comparing products from the same manufacturer.
