Description

Description

The ROG Strix 1000W Platinum is an excellent power supply with top-notch performance and extremely low noise, ideal for gamers and demanding users. It uses GaN MOSFET for up to 30% better efficiency and a more organized layout of internal components for cooler operation. The "GPU-FIRST" technology with intelligent voltage stabilizer improves graphics card performance by 45% for smoother gameplay. The large ROG heatsinks reduce temperature and noise, while the fan's dual ball bearings last twice as long as traditional designs. It supports ATX 3.1, PCIe 5.0 and is certified with 80 PLUS Platinum and Lambda A+ for exceptional efficiency and low noise levels.

Meets your requirements

The ROG STRIX Platinum power supply offers the power and high energy efficiency that today's users demand. It is ideal for high-performance gaming computers.

GaN MOSFET

Thanks to the innovative GaN MOSFETs for superior energy efficiency up to 30% compared to traditional solutions, the energy footprint is drastically reduced. Also, thanks to their smaller size, better space management is achieved inside, a feature that allows the application of larger heatsinks and the creation of better airflow for improved removal of generated heat.

"GPU-FIRST" Voltage Sensing

Activate the "GPU-FIRST" Voltage Sensing by connecting the IVS cable. This innovative feature improves voltage stability by up to 45%, even during demanding gaming sessions and overclocking scenarios. If you prefer traditional CPU-focused voltage sensing, simply disconnect the IVS cable. With this specific, innovative technology, stable voltage supply to the graphics card is achieved without deviations, allowing you to enjoy smooth gameplay with high framerates.

High-performance copper pins

The upgraded PCIe® connectors with superior thermal conductivity ensure cooler operation and improved power delivery performance. This translates to a significant 29% reduction in connector temperatures (up to 12.28°C), promoting optimal performance and stability even for the most demanding graphics cards.

Compatible with ATX 3.1

ATX 3.1 introduces a stricter standard for voltage and current regulation for next-generation hardware - and the ROG Strix Platinum is ahead of the curve, as it is fully compliant. A 16-pin PCIe cable capable of delivering up to 600W of power to PCIe Gen 5.0 graphics cards accompanies the power supply, preparing your build for the next generation.

80 PLUS Platinum Certification

The ROG Strix 1000W Platinum uses Japanese low ESR capacitors to ensure efficient operation. These upgrades allow for 80 PLUS Platinum certification, which guarantees 89% efficiency at 100% load and 92% at 50% load. The increased efficiency results in less heat, reduced fan noise, and increased reliability.

ROG Coolers - Pressurized Cooling

ROG heatsinks facilitate lower temperatures, longer component lifespan, and extended 0dB operation.

Full-modular design with Axial-tech

The fully modular design allows you to use only the cables you need for better cable management and consequently better airflow inside your computer. The Axial-tech fan technology with Dual Ball Fan Bearings enables the fan to spin with less noise and greater reliability for a longer period compared to standard solutions.

0dB Technology and CYBENETICS Lambda Certification

Thanks to the "0dB Technology," a specialized controller regulates the fan speed, and when the power supply load drops below 40%, the fan stops for silent operation when you are working, surfing the Internet, or performing light tasks. Low noise levels are guaranteed with the CYBENETICS A+ (Lambda A+) certification.

DIY-friendly CPU Power Connector

Designed with a distinct clip between the 4+4 pin connectors and with a unique color design, this CPU power cable simplifies cable identification during installation. The integrated clip helps ensure a secure and effortless connection with the motherboard's CPU power plug, simplifying the building process and inspiring confidence in your computer setup.

1000W PSU with zero coil noise :P ... Absolute premium build quality once again from Asus, the PSU has a ROG homemade heatsink for maximum lifespan. Everyone talks about Asus being overpriced but that's until you understand and feel the Asus mentality. For the facts, I entered the PC world in 2005 with an Intel Core 2 Duo E6550 on an Asus motherboard which is still alive today, overclocked, with immortal resistors and capacitors. I started with Asus, then wasted my money on Microstar (MSI), GIGABYTE, second worst (I just disabled fast boot from the BIOS and it needed a clear CMOS, ridiculous...). ONLY Asrock is worth it as a secondary. That's all from me.
