Description & Specifications

The design of the S-M10 offers a smooth, attractive, aerodynamic profile, enhanced and free from external channels and features that could act as load points in the event of an impact. The curvature of the surface promotes reduced friction upon impact and allows for more effective energy transfer to protect the rider's head. The removable side pads made of semi-soft polymer offer additional protection with a larger contact area for the distribution of impact energy.

The patented A-Head Fitment System allows easy adjustment of the helmet's angle and height. An extremely ventilated helmet with 28 intake and exhaust ports, with 18 intakes and 10 exhausts for optimal ventilation. Multi-directional Impact Protection System (MIPS) designed to impede rotational forces during a collision. MIPS works by adding two low-friction layers to mimic the brain's low-friction cerebrospinal fluid.

The helmet shell construction uses advanced molding technology with a combination of multiple composite materials:

  • 3K Carbon, high-density carbon outer layer for improved strength and energy dispersion efficiency.
  • Uni-directional composite carbon layer for significantly greater radial strength around the shell.
  • Aramid fiber layer for critical penetration protection.

This combination of layers with epoxy resin bonding offers strength and energy management. The new chin bar profile has been shaped to provide relief, with softer EPS padding extending beyond the helmet shell, reducing the likelihood of injury.
