A global solidarity movement for Palestine is once again igniting around the world following the new mass slaughter unleashed by the Israeli army in Gaza. In this battle, we are putting all our strength into fighting, first and foremost, against the complicity of the New Democracy government in the crimes of imperialism and Israel in the region.

The Palestinian Resistance is not "terrorism," nor is solidarity with it "antisemitism," as claimed by Israeli propaganda and its imperialist supporters in a systematic ideological attack against the Left. It is a struggle for existence of a heroic people against a racist terrorist state that seeks to uproot them from their homeland.

The texts contained in this book explain that Israel is a settler state, a product of the colonial plan of Zionism, which has been, and continues to be, supported by imperialism to play the role of the "attack dog" for controlling the Middle East and its oil. The second edition of the book begins with a new extensive text that summarizes the past year, reminding us first and foremost that "history did not start on October 7, 2023."

Palestinians have every right to continue the fight against Israeli occupation and to resist by whatever means they choose. However, unconditional support for the Palestinian Resistance does not mean that discussion is unnecessary regarding the strategy that will bring "Freedom to Palestine." This edition from the Marxist Bookstore aims to contribute to this discussion.
