Admittedly, these are high-cost headphones, but guys, they are worth it! I use them on a PC for gaming/movies/series, on my phone with Bluetooth, and on a smart TV (so some of what I say might not apply if you want to use them exclusively on a console) and I have the following to say:

Amazing battery, excellent range (even through walls, especially in distance mode and not gaming with low ms response [I continued talking to friends on the other side of the house from the hub]). The haptics feature is AMAZING once you get used to it, for movies/series and especially in games that support it (yes, it's not fully compatible with all games), it makes the experience of watching a movie on the couch almost equal to cinema (especially in explosions, etc.). Unlimited settings via their Razer Synapse app (PC). Comfortable on the ears and surprisingly lighter than I expected.

If I have to say something negative, it's that compared to the previous Kraken USB V2 I had, maybe the V2 had a little more volume at 100% than these. (Of course, those were 100% wired, so maybe that makes a difference, I don't know.)

They cost a kidney, but the listening experience they offer and the ease of use, as well as the control hub, are unique in their kind at the time I am writing this review, hence they are rated as such, thus the 5 stars. They have haptics that are NOT a gimmick and indeed provide a sound experience that you do not encounter in other headphones.

They are not the most comfortable wireless headphones I have tried, but they are not bad either. You can wear them comfortably for several hours, maybe 3-4. After that, I think you definitely need a break. The control hub is miles better and more useful than similar ones like SteelSeries, for example. In the Plus, you can use both Bluetooth and 2.4GHz simultaneously, allowing you to connect it to your phone as well. They weigh about 390 grams. The sound itself is not anything crazy and does not differ much from other gaming headphones. You get these headphones for the features they have (control hub, haptics, etc.) and not for their sound.

If you are not interested in haptics or the hub, or you think you won't use them often, then they are not for you and definitely not worth it. You can find better sound in much cheaper headphones, both wireless and wired.

If you play a lot of story-driven games and want immersion (so not FPS games) and watch a lot of movies/series, then the haptics fit perfectly and are worth it. For competitive FPS games and others, as well as for music, the haptics do not fit as well.

After trying the Razer Kraken V4 Pro for several hours in gaming, movies, and music, I can tell you that these are some of the most impressive gaming headphones I've used, especially in terms of innovation and sound quality.

Their sound is excellent, thanks to the 40mm TriForce Bio-Cellulose drivers. The bass is deep yet balanced, the mids have clarity, and the highs retain every detail. Particularly impressive is the THX Spatial Audio, which creates an incredible sense of space, especially in FPS games. In titles like Call of Duty, I felt I could locate opponents just by the sound of their footsteps. I also tried the different EQ profiles, such as "Game," which stands out for its accuracy in details within a game, while "Music" provides a more natural sound when you want to listen to your favorite music.

The Sensa HD Haptics (Haptic Experience) feature is a real revelation. Initially, I was afraid the vibrations would be excessive or distracting, but the sensation it provides in games is fantastic. For example, while playing Hogwarts Legacy, each spell had its own haptic feedback, while in more combat-heavy games like Final Fantasy XVI, the explosions had real "weight." Even without game support, the haptics work flawlessly, turning low frequencies into vibrations. A small note: you can disable the haptics or adjust their intensity.

Now, regarding their design, the Kraken V4 Pro are comfortable, even after many hours of use. The soft, leather-like padding and well-balanced pressure on the head help a lot. Their RGB lighting is impressive, with many customization options. However, their overall weight is a bit heavier than I expected, which might tire some after extended use.

As for connectivity, the Kraken V4 Pro prove to be quite versatile, as they connect via Bluetooth, Razer HyperSpeed Wireless, or wired through USB-C and 3.5mm jack. I found the ability to mix Bluetooth and 2.4GHz simultaneously particularly useful. While playing on the computer, I could answer calls from my mobile without changing headphones.

Now, the OLED Control Hub is extremely practical. Through the OLED screen, you can adjust everything from volume to EQ without needing to open Synapse. Customization is super easy even when you are gaming or listening to music.

In terms of battery life, their battery is quite good, offering about 46 hours without RGB and haptics, while with all features activated it drops to 12 hours. Charging via USB-C is fast and convenient.

The microphone is clear and records your voice with a 32kHz sampling rate, but I would have liked it to have slightly better noise cancellation for more professional use in competitive gaming (not particularly important).

In conclusion, the Razer Kraken V4 Pro are one of the most impressive gaming headsets I've tried. Good sound quality, groundbreaking haptic technology combined with the comfort from the OLED Control Hub they come with, make them ideal for gamers who want the best immersive experience. Although the cost is high, the overall gaming package they offer is worth the investment, speaking honestly!

I reiterate that the Razer Kraken V4 Pro are not intended to be compared with audiophile or studio monitor headphones, which focus exclusively on neutral and analytical sound performance. On the contrary, they are the best 'Gaming' headphones that simultaneously remain very honest in their sound quality when we talk about movies and music.
