The Creative Pebble X Plus are the best speakers from the Pebble series by Creative, apart from the Pebble Nova which is a new version without a subwoofer and has not yet been reviewed. For those who want to keep this shape and uniqueness while also getting uniform and excellent sound for their price, they are the best choice.

Firstly, despite the photos making the speakers look "small" in size, they are not. They are bulky and larger than they appear in the photos, but still not too big and are just right for small spaces and for PCs. Nice premium packaging, with the speakers permanently connected by a cable (meaning you can't separate them or use your own cable), with the distance between them reaching one meter and twenty centimeters. The right speaker, which is the main one with the volume control knob, also has another fixed cable that goes to the subwoofer, which is relatively small but powerful for its size and will definitely boost the system.

In terms of sound, with the right settings the quality is excellent. All frequencies are heard clearly without problems, but there is a big but. You need to download Creative's software to make the adjustments. On flat, by my standards, the sound is a bit muffled, but with frequency changes on the EQ it improves a lot to maximum best performance. You will need to increase the mids more, slightly raise the highs, and noticeably reduce two frequencies in the bass (more details below). My previous speakers were the Creative P5800 5.1, where in older times the mids dominated. The new versions do the classic "V" where the bass is boosted and the mids are bypassed. After the EQ changes, even though it may be personal, you can set them up with an excellent balance. (You will need to spend a little time, of course.)

Now, regarding volume, out of the box they only give half their power. 15 RMS, 30w. Although the volume will satisfy many for PC speakers, to level them up you will need a USB-C charger of at least 30w, to double their volume. Either from your phone or a new separate one, which will cost at least €20+ extra if you don't already have one. The other reason is that at very high volumes, the bass and especially the slow bass make the speakers rattle and the final result is slightly distorted.

The software is easy to understand. There are various settings for digital surround, extra bass, EQ, speech enhancer, RGB lighting with modes, and other functions, and you can control them as you wish. The RGB, by the way, is beautiful, although the brightness is not strong enough for a bright environment, it is satisfactory and definitely enjoyable.

Finally, for this particular size, it's hard to find better speakers at this price. Additionally, I want to share an EQ with better mids for those who want crystal clear sound without interference from the bass, without significantly losing quality. I will come back to add the EQ as well as anything else I should mention.

So, regarding my own Equalizer:
The frequencies 31hz, 16khz make no difference, whether at 8 or -8.

It enhances the mids better, without muffled bass.
31 to 250 Low range, 500hz to 2Khz-3.5khz mid range, then the highs. The thump is at 62hz. For headphones, play a bit with 125hz and 250hz. At the same time, the 250hz frequency does not affect the mids. Preamp at 4-5. (For me, this is the best all-around adjustment, but try accordingly and adapt.)
As for the acoustic engine, Crystalizer 50, surround 40. Bass on vs off for more punch, smart volume and dialog+ I recommend Off unless it’s something specialized.
Lastly, on the right speaker where all the ports are, there is also a port for headphones but it is simple without a quality enhancer.
Also, as the friend below correctly says, you will need a charger to power them. Anyway, if you get them for double the good result, a charger of at least 30w is recommended. The volume is strong and you can make the whole house hear it with the preamp at max and at 100% volume.
