For users interested in having two platforms connected to the sound card at the same time (e.g., PC and PS5), I explain:
Yes, the card can be connected to two or more platforms simultaneously, but mixing audio between chat and game will not work without an additional audio extraction device from your console. The connection setup for simultaneous PC and console connection with audio mixing capability is: connect each platform to the card via USB (the box includes 2 USB-C to USB-C cables), additionally connect the PC via a 3.5mm audio cable to the card's line-in, and additionally connect the console via SPDIF or via HDMI ARC if your monitor supports it (For SPDIF connection you need an HDMI to HDMI & SPDIF audio extractor. I recommend this one https://www.easycoolav.com/products/4k120hz-hdmi-21-audio-extractor-48gbps. It's very expensive but maybe the only one that supports HDMI 2.1, 4k, and HDR). You also need to make the appropriate settings on the PC and console. Congratulations, you are connected... Here you realize how much the 'minimal' design limits your control over your audio management. For example, if you want to play a game on your console and listen to music or your favorite series on your PC, you cannot lower the game audio volume to better hear the PC. Honestly, if the manufacturers had added two more audio mixing tools for the volume of each connected platform and separate chat/game mixing for each, the card would perhaps be the best audio accessory someone could buy. Note: if you have connected the card with an alternative USB-A cable to the PC and occasionally hear small pops or other audio artifacts, try another cable or port, or preferably use the USB-C cables that come with the card. Also, if you hear continuous buzzing when connecting the 3.5mm audio cable, you will need a ground loop isolator (a relatively cheap accessory). Finally, make sure you have the latest firmware updates for the card.

Ναι μεν η κάρτα μπορεί να ενωθεί με δύο ή περισσότερες πλατφόρμες ταυτόχρονα αλλά η μίξη ήχου μεταξύ chat και game, δεν θα λειτουργεί χωρίς επιπλέον συσκευή εξαγωγής ήχου από την κονσολα σας. Η συνδεσμολογία για ταυτόχρονη σύνδεση Η/Υ και κονσόλας με δυνατότητα μίξης ήχου είναι: σύνδεση της κάθε πλατφόρμας με την κάρτα μέσω usb (περιέχονται στο κουτί 2 usb-c to usb-c), επιπλέον σύνδεση Η/Υ μέσω καλώδιο ήχου 3.5mm στο line-in της κάρτας, επιπλέον σύνδεση της κονσόλας μέσω SPDIF ή μέσω HDMI ARC αν το υποστηρίζει η οθόνη σας (Για την σύνδεση με SPDIF χρειάζεστε εξαγωγέα ήχου από HDMI σε HDMI & SPDIF. Εδώ σας κτυπά η συνειδητοποίση του πόσο ο 'μινιμαλ' σχεδιασμός σας περιορίζει τον έλεγχο στον χειρισμό του ήχου σας. Για παράδειγμα, εάν θέλετε να παίξετε ένα παιχνίδι στην κονσόλα σας και να ακούτε μουσική ή την αγαπημένη σας σειρά στον Η/Υ, δεν μπορείτε να χαμηλώσετε την ένταση ήχου του παιχνιδιού για να ακούτε καλύτερα τον Η/Υ. Επίσης εάν ακούτε συνεχόμενο βουητό όταν ενώνετε το 3.5mm καλώδιο ήχου θα χρειαστείτε ένα groud loop isolator (σχετικά φτηνό εξάρτημα). We remove one star for the slightly high price from some stores, and the absence of a USB-A in the package since it assumes everyone has type-C readily available on laptops/PCs and consoles. The optical outputs/inputs are welcome as they allow connection to a TV or console as ARC. It also features additional gain control at the back to drive headphones/monitors or refined models for audiophiles. In terms of quality, it stands very close to its other flagship cards like the Sound Blaster X5 and the GC7 with their buttery controls and clear sound. Είναι από τα πιο λιτά DAC-παύλα-εξωτερικές κάρτες ήχου της Creative. Αν έχετε PC και κονσόλα στον ίδιο χώρο και χρησιμοποιείτε headset με μικρόφωνο τότε η G8 τα δένει όλα αυτά σε μία συσκευή.
Αφαιρούμε ένα αστεράκι για την ελαφρώς τσιμπημένη τιμή από κάποια καταστήματα, και την απουσία USB-A στη συσκευασία αφού θεωρεί ότι όλοι έχουμε type-C πρόχειρες σε laptop/PC και κονσόλες. Οι οπτικές έξοδοι/είσοδοι είναι ευπρόσδεκτες αφού επιτρέπουν τη σύνδεση TV ή κονσόλας σαν ARC. Διαθέτει και πρόσθετο gain control πίσω για να διεγείρει και ακουστικά/monitor ή εκλεπτυσμένα μοντέλα για ηχόφιλους.
