The Black Forest board game by Feuerland Spiele is a fantasy game for 1–4 players, ages 14 and up. Players start with a small area and seek out new buildings and animals, traveling from village to village to recruit specialists. The specialists’ abilities help players collect resources, place landscape tiles such as lakes and fields, and construct four types of buildings.
The game includes two resource wheels on each player’s board to track resources and production. Worker placement determines the actions, while the various buildings offer different effects and paths to victory.
