An excellent quality substrate for all varieties of Alocasia. Completely peat-free and soil-free, promotes healthy root growth.

Contains:

• Coco coir
• Activated carbon
• Worm castings
• Coconut husk chips
• Orchid bark
• Vermiculite
• DCM organic nutrients

Usage instructions:

Using the mix is easy! Start by removing as much of the old soil as possible. Gently press the pot while holding it sideways to loosen the plant. Rinse the roots under tap water to remove the last bits of soil. Make sure to remove any dead foliage using scissors. Add a small layer of soil to the bottom of the pot, place the plant, and gradually add the soil mixture to the sides to fill it up. Ensure the point where the roots meet the plant is below the substrate. Lightly tap the mix inside the pot and water well after repotting.

Alocasia prefers moist soil and requires high humidity. It loves indirect lighting but cannot tolerate direct sunlight.
