The Hikvision DS-3E1518P-EI-M managed Layer 2 switch transfers data and supplies PoE power over the same cable. With PoE Watchdog technology, it detects when a connected camera is not working and restarts it. PoE transmission reaches up to 300 meters only with cameras in the -3 series.
