The Hikvision DS-3E1552P-SI switch powers cameras and other network devices over Ethernet through its 48 PoE ports, with up to 30 W per port. Long Range mode extends the PoE range to 300 m at 10 Mb/s, while Port Isolation and PoE Watchdog are available on ports 1–48. It supports management through the iVMS-4200 app and remote firmware updates.

The metal enclosure has a graphite finish. The PoE ports have 6 kV surge protection.
