The flat driver is designed with a patented dual coating, on the conductive width of the trace, in the detail of the magnetic circuit, even in the standardized fixing of the brackets. Weighing only 374 grams, the FT1 Pro features a capable 95x86mm driver with specifications matching those of top flat headphones. Thanks to this research and development, the FT1 Pro boasts a large, almost limitless soundstage rarely found among its peers. It also effortlessly produces sound up to 40 kHz.

Thin 1μm Diaphragm
The difference between even a 2μm and 1μm diaphragm thickness results in remarkable performance differences when the diaphragm vibrates at high speeds, ultimately affecting sound quality.
We created a top-of-the-line ultra-thin 1μm diaphragm for the FT1 Pro, using high-performance PET as a substrate, which is extremely lightweight, allowing it to respond with lightning speed. It faithfully reproduces even subtle sounds in the ultra-high frequency range while also providing excellent dynamic range.
Patented Dual Coating Sapphire+ Aluminum Technology
It uses a new technology developed for the planar driver - a patented dual-layer system. The planar driver uses high-performance PET as a diaphragm substrate and selectively applies sapphire and aluminum to create a dual-layer driver. The first coating layer is made of aluminum. The lightweight aluminum coating enhances conductivity, helps reduce the driver's complex impedance and power, and improves its dynamics. The 2nd coating layer is made of sapphire. With its high hardness, the sapphire coating contributes to the diaphragm's rigidity and enhances treble resolution and overall transparency, helping the driver to exhibit a unique sound.
374 g lightweight
While the FT1 Pro features a large, double-sided planar magnetic driver, it weighs only about 374 grams – making it lightweight, comfortable, and easy to carry.
High Sensitivity Design 20Ω
The lightweight FT1 Pro aims to deliver exceptional level sound without requiring serious amplification. The low composite impedance of 20Ω combined with the high sensitivity of 112dB/Vrms@1kHz (or 95dB/mW@1kHz) means that you can easily get great sound from the FT1 Pro.
Origin of the FT1 Pro Name
The FT1 Pro originates from the FT1, with the same appearance structure but very different internal core elements. The FT1 Pro is an open-back planar headphone, while the FT1 is a closed-back dynamic driver headphone. Both are based on the concept of "Lightweight Headphones," aiming to create a comfortable, lightweight, and easy-to-drive headphone. Without cables, the FT1 Pro weighs about 374 g, while the FT1 about 340 g.
The FT1 is the standard model of the "Lightweight Headphones" series, while the FT1 Pro is an upgraded model of the same series, with "Pro" as an abbreviation for "Progressive," conveying the concept of "advancement" or "improvement".
