The company's after-purchase customer service is not good. Latest update: The company does not recognize the international warranty of the product, claiming that the eshop from which we purchased the coffee maker has sourced the product wholesale from Bulgaria. We bought this coffee maker 4 months ago, due to its good reviews, and with minimal use, as the summer months intervened, the coffee maker stopped working 2 weeks ago (at 3.5 months). Prior to the appearance of the malfunction, we had descaled the machine according to Rowenta's instructions, following a cycle with a special descaling liquid and a cycle with diluted vinegar. After the descaling cycle, the coffee maker was working fine and suddenly stopped working. After contacting the representative and with the warranty still in effect, they referred us to their certified local partner. Today, we delivered the coffee maker to the partner who told us that we need to pay 12 euros because he believes that the coffee maker is clogged internally with salts and in order to open it and certify if it is a salt issue and proceed with the repair, payment is required because such issues are not covered by the warranty. In the end, he never proceeded with the repair because the company does not recognize the warranty.

Αγοράσαμε αυτή την καφετιέρα 4 μήνες πριν, λόγω των καλών κριτικών της, και με ελάχιστη χρήση, καθότι μεσολάβησαν οι καλοκαιρινοί μήνες, η καφετιέρα σταμάτησε να δουλεύει 2 βδομάδες πριν (στους 3,5 μήνες). Το διάστημα πριν την εμφάνιση της βλάβης είχαμε αφαιρέσει τα άλατα σύμφωνα με τις οδηγίες της Rowenta, ακολουθώντας έναν κύκλο με ειδικό υγρό αφαλάτωσης και έναν κύκλο με αραιωμένο ξύδι. Μετά τον κύκλο αφαλάτωσης η καφετιέρα δούλευε κανονικά και ξαφνικά σταμάτησε να δουλεύει. Κατόπιν επικοινωνίας με την αντιπροσωπία, και με την εγγύηση ακόμα σε ισχύ, μας παρέπεμψαν σε πιστοποιημένο τοπικό συνεργάτη τους. Σήμερα παραδώσαμε την καφετιέρα στον συνεργάτη ο οποίος μας είπε ότι χρειάζεται να πληρωθεί 12ευρώ γιατί πιστεύει ότι η καφετιέρα έχει μπουκώσει εσωτερικά από τα άλατα και για να την ανοίξει μόνο και να πιστοποιήσει αν πρόκειται για θέμα αλάτων και να το προχωρήσει θα πρέπει να πληρωθεί γιατί τέτοια θέματα δεν καλύπτονται από την εγγύηση. Τελικά δεν προχώρησε ποτέ στην επισκευή γιατί η εταιρεία δεν αναγνωρίζει την εγγύηση.

Είναι η καλύτερη καφετιέρα. Διατηρεί τον καφέ ζεστό πάνω από τέσσερις ώρες. Επίσης δε χρειάζεται συντήρηση. Την έχω πάνω από δέκα χρόνια στο σπίτι και δουλεύει καθημερινά χωρίς το παραμικρό πρόβλημα, οπότε τώρα πήρα δεύτερη, ώστε να πάω αυτή που έχω ήδη στο εξοχικό.
