Description

This manual primarily concerns the learning of English terminology in the field of Archaeology. Secondarily, however, it aims to support undergraduate students in their further engagement with the ideas and topics of the humanities.

The content of the book is divided into six parts and contains a total of 39 sections with texts on various topics, orientations, and vocabulary, as well as individual or group assignments. Specifically, it includes exercises for:

  • Understanding and practicing vocabulary
  • Creating summaries of texts and videos
  • Case studies
  • Oral presentations
  • Simulation exercises

The goal is for all of the above to contribute to the creative thinking of students and the research they will need to conduct within the framework of their studies. At the same time, group assignments enhance socialization as well as learning as a process. Even the most hesitant students overcome the hurdle of making mistakes and are encouraged to use the English language for academic purposes through the modern and friendly linguistic environment of the book.

At the end of the book, the reader will find all the answers as well as an English-Greek glossary.
