FERM 500 is a water-based primer for plastic paints, with very good adhesion, hardness, and elasticity, as well as high resistance to alkaline surfaces. It contributes to the coverage of the final paint and ensures a uniform matte surface. It dries quickly and allows repainting on the same day.

Preparation: Thorough preparation is essential for good results. Surfaces must be clean, dry, and free from defective or poorly cohesive materials, dust, oils, and salts. Patch various surface defects. Prime locally with A50.

• New surfaces made of plaster, concrete, bricks, cement: Prime with FERM 500 diluted with 1 part product and 4 parts water.
• New drywall or spackled surfaces: Prime with FERM 500 diluted with 1 part product and 4 parts water.

Use: Apply with a roller, brush, or airless spray. Dilution up to 400% water. Stir well before use and during application. For best results, during application, the surface should not be directly exposed to sunlight.

Drying - Coverage: The ambient temperature and the thickness of the coating determine the drying time required.

• Surface drying: 1-2 hours.
• Repainting time: 1-3 hours.
• Coverage: 30-40m²/l, depending on the thickness of each layer and the absorbency of the surface.
