This review is about a variation of the product

Purchased in 2019 for 39 Euros. For the money it is currently sold for (71 Euros), there are much better options.

Perfect in everything, and with a second Noctua fan, it comfortably handles a 5600x overclocked at 75C in Cinebench and 65C in gaming.

This review is about a variation of the product

Initially, it was installed on a 12400f that showed thermal throttling with the stock cooler during stress tests and Adobe Premiere. With the 212, the max temperatures were 70. The 12400f has a max TDP of 117w.
Then I installed the cooler on a 14600kf which has a max TDP of 181w and showed thermal throttling above 150w, with temperatures of 90-100+. I replaced it with a Thermalright Peerless Assassin 120 SE and the temperatures dropped to 70. Generally, the max TDP for the 212 should be 150w. It is not mentioned in the specifications.
In gaming, there is no problem overall.

  • This review is about a variation of the product

I used it to replace the same model previous version (10+ years old) that had the old (and unacceptable) base and did not fit with the new motherboard I bought. I use it for an i3 processor, where it is overkill and the temperatures are extremely low under any workload.

First time installing a cooler, so it was a bit challenging for me. Temperatures are great, reaching 58 degrees Celsius with full graphics on World of Tanks and Spotify running in the background, along with 10-20 other windows open (i7-3960x). Using Arctic mx6 thermal paste.

It cools an I5 13400 very well. In a be quiet base 500 fx case, after an hour of demanding gaming, the temperature is 56 degrees. It was easily installed despite its size. I am satisfied with this cooler.
