The Cambridge Audio EXA100 integrated amplifier is a stereo amplifier with Class AB amplification delivering 100 W per channel, capable of driving even demanding speakers. Its amplification circuit design is based on the technology of the Edge M monoblock power amplifier and includes the CAP protection system, which detects potential problems and protects against power or temperature overload.
Digital inputs include HDMI eARC, USB Audio, coaxial, and two optical TOSLINK inputs, while digital-to-analogue conversion is handled by an ESS Sabre ES9018K2M DAC. Bluetooth aptX HD is supported for wireless audio streaming. Power Amp Mode allows it to be used as a stereo power amplifier with a preamplifier.
