The Extralink Pilot cable rodder is used to pull cables between telecommunications manholes and guide them under roads or through protective conduits. The 6 mm FRP fiberglass cable has a yellow PE plastic coating that protects it and helps it slide more easily. It is flexible and resistant to bending and breakage.

The reel sits on a special stand equipped with a manual brake to secure the drum and a cable guide. A guiding head is fitted to the end of the cable. The stand makes the cable rodder easier to transport, store and use, including for suspended-ceiling installations and for cleaning or clearing pipes, ducts and drains.
