The AXAGON PCEU-43RS PCI-Express card adds four external USB 3.2 Gen 1 ports to the desktop computer. It is designed for fast data transfers with speeds up to 5 Gb/s. The four SuperSpeed USB ports are located on the expansion card. The dual power supply of the controller allows standard power delivery to the controller and connected USB peripherals via the PCI-Express bus, as well as optional power supply from the computer’s power supply via the SATA connector.
The USB controller is equipped with the Renesas μPD720201 chipset, which offers high performance and UASP support.
- Input: PCI-Express 2.0 interface, compatible with PCI-Express 1.0a / 1.1 / 2.1 / 3.0. Number of lanes: 1-Lane (x1), compatible with PCIe x1 / x4 / x8 / x16. The PCI-Express 2.0 bus speed is 5 Gb/s.
- Output: 4x external USB 3.2 Gen 1 ports with type A-F connectors. Supports data transfer rates of 5000 / 480 / 12 / 1.5 Mb/s.
- Other features: Supports full Plug and Play, simultaneous SuperSpeed USB, USB 2.0 and USB 1.1 activity. Compliant with the official final xHCI revision 1.0 specification by USB-IF. Supports UASP for faster data transfers on Windows 8 and later.
