I tried it on heavy dirt on a plastic boat. It does clean, but not anything impressive; it requires quite a bit of scrubbing and force and doesn’t remove everything. For example, where rust had stained it, it would fade it but not eliminate it. I don’t know if it is that much better than a simple strong cleaner, which would cost a fraction of the price; maybe this has the protection of the polyester, but that remains to be seen over time
