With a history and active presence in Greek and global society for over 100 years, the Greek Scouting movement requires a sincere collective reflection to continue its contribution to children and youth.
This work contributes to this effort, presenting the many and diverse changes that took place in Greek Scouting from 1974 to 1991, both in its institutional framework and its programs.
At the same time, it records both the evolution of the changes and various events that caused or influenced them, along with a look at the "social footprint" that Greek Scouting had during that time.
The educational proposal of the Scouting Movement helps young people and children to stand firmly on their feet, with confidence and courage, but also with a tender perspective on the world.
A movement of young people with liberal principles and values, that defends freedom and peace in every homeland of this world, is even more necessary in today's era.
