The Aurender A1000 DAC converts digital audio through an AKM4490REQ Dual Mono converter and can operate as a preamplifier with lossless volume control or as a fixed-output source. It supports streaming via Tidal Connect, Spotify Connect and Google Cast Audio, which enables streaming from services such as Qobuz, YouTube and Deezer. The HDMI ARC input connects to a TV, while the digital inputs let you connect additional audio sources.

The front panel features a 6.9″ colour IPS display, and the unit is controlled via a Bluetooth LE remote control. The 2.5″ SSD slot for file storage is optional and supports drives up to 8 TB.
