Extremely interesting whiskey from a family distillery that has accustomed us to very high quality. Its quality aroma releases fresh oak, ripe red apples, and tones of cinnamon upon opening. An easy single malt that will beautifully accompany your spring and winter nights. It is worth trying as an upper priced low-end single malt whiskey. The price positioning is excellent, slightly higher than Glenfiddich 12 or Tamnavulin double cask, and €10 lower than good single malts like Talisker. It plays almost alone in its category as one of the few single malts with an age statement (only Glenfiddich has it at this price), and yet it could easily be compared to, let's say, Lagavulin of the same age (8-year-old) which costs twice as much - don't confuse it with the 16-year-old Lagavulin, which is at the same price and is perhaps the best whiskey in the world. One taste will convince you.
