The main purpose of the switch is to control the operation of the pump. It allows for the automatic start and stop of the device, protecting it from:

• overheating
• operation without water

The operation of the pump can be controlled by measuring the pressure. Once a drop in water pressure below the set value is observed, the switch will stop the pump. If you turn on the water and increase the pressure - for example, when you open the lawn sprinklers or turn on the faucet at home - the pump will start. One of the main advantages of the device is protection from the so-called operation without water.
