Nikos Chatzigiannakis holds a degree from the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering of the University of Patras and a Master's degree in Computer Science from the University of Bath, England. Since 2009, he has been teaching programming in the Department of Cultural Technology and Communication at the University of the Aegean, while he has taken on the design and development of pioneering information systems for the public sector.

He is also the author of the book "The C Language in Depth" (Kleidarithmos Publications).
