The transition from Windows seems quite difficult to me but the problem lies elsewhere. I got it to do editing from insta360 and then in filmora and it lags incredibly. A computer that is supposed to be the pinnacle of technology and it doesn't even compare to the ancient 16GB RAM Windows I had. I hope that if I learn it, many things will change because honestly I already regret the 2 grand I spent.

After quite a bit of searching, I realized that a software update hadn't been done, and once it was completed, it became a completely different machine. No lagging, super fast 360 video editing, file transfer from phone to laptop and vice versa at an impressive rate. It completely changed my opinion about video editing and I will probably get another one for the office.
Η μετάβαση από windows μου φαίνεται αρκετά δύσκολη αλλά το πρόβλημα είναι αλλού. Το πήρα για να κάνω editing από insta360 και μετά σε filmora και lagaρει απίστευτα. Υπολογιστής που υποτίθεται είναι το αποκορύφωμα της τεχνολογίας και δεν πιάνει μία μπροστά στο αρχαίο 16giga ram windows που είχα. Ελπίζω πως αν το μάθω θα αλλάξουν πολλά γιατί πραγματικά κλαίω ήδη τα 2χιλιαρικα που εσκασα

Μετά από αρκετό ψάξιμο κατάλαβα πως δεν είχε γίνει μία ενημέρωση λογισμικού η οποία αφού ολοκληρώθηκε έγινε άλλο μηχάνημα. Κανένα λαγκαρισμα, ταχύτατη επεξεργασία 360 video, μεταφορά αρχείων από κινητό σε λάπτοπ και αντίστροφα με εντυπωσιακό Ρυθμό. Μιυ άλλαξε ολοκληρωτικά την άποψη για το video editing και πιθανότατα θα πάρω άλλο ένα για το γραφείο.

Incredible laptop, one of the most high-quality if not the most high-quality laptop on the market, I have the Macbook pro m4 24GB 1TB SSD, I highly recommend it, for everyday tasks the base macbook pro is more than enough, beyond that, upgrades are only worth it if you do some work that requires it. The base, given that with ~500 euros more than the equivalent air you get better battery, cooling, screen, speakers, and ports, is quite a good deal.

Το base με ,δεδομένο πως με ~500 ευρώ παραπάνω απο το αντίστοιχο air παίρνεις καλύτερη μπαταρία , cooling , οθόνη , ηχεία και ports, είναι αρκετά καλή ευκαιρία.
I got the MacBook Pro M4 (base) with 32GB RAM / 1TB SSD mainly for software development.
The tool is perfect for developers. I think the M4 Pro is not necessary despite the extra fans, faster memory data transfer, and higher speed. The regular M4 with the single fan is already enough.
If you deal with video, app development, and generally heavy workloads, don't go for the MacBook Air because it doesn't have fans and when it gets hot, performance drops.
Also, at least 512GB of storage no matter what you do. The system takes up quite a bit of space.

Το εργαλείο είναι τέλειο για developers. Νομίζω ο Μ4 pro δεν χρειάζεται παρά τους περισσότερους ανεμιστήρες, την πιο γρήγορη μεταφορά δεδομένων στη μνήμη και την πιο γρήγορη ταχύτητα. Ο Μ4 απλός με τον 1 ανεμιστήρα είναι ήδη αρκετός.
Εάν ασχολείστε με βίντεο, ανάπτυξη εφαρμογών και γενικά βαριές εργασίες μην πάτε σε Macbook air διότι δεν έχει ανεμιστήρες και όταν ζεσταίνεται πέφτει η απόδοση.
Επίσης, τουλάχιστον 512GB σκληρό ότι και αν κάνετε. Το σύστημα πιάνει αρκετό χώρο.

The transition from Windows seems quite difficult to me but the problem lies elsewhere. I got it to do editing from insta360 and then in filmora and it lags incredibly. A computer that is supposed to be the pinnacle of technology and it doesn't even compare to the ancient 16GB RAM Windows I had. I hope that if I learn it, many things will change because honestly I already regret the 2 grand I spent.

After quite a bit of searching, I realized that a software update hadn't been done, and once it was completed, it became a completely different machine. No lagging, super fast 360 video editing, file transfer from phone to laptop and vice versa at an impressive rate. It completely changed my opinion about video editing and I will probably get another one for the office.
Η μετάβαση από windows μου φαίνεται αρκετά δύσκολη αλλά το πρόβλημα είναι αλλού. Το πήρα για να κάνω editing από insta360 και μετά σε filmora και lagaρει απίστευτα. Υπολογιστής που υποτίθεται είναι το αποκορύφωμα της τεχνολογίας και δεν πιάνει μία μπροστά στο αρχαίο 16giga ram windows που είχα. Ελπίζω πως αν το μάθω θα αλλάξουν πολλά γιατί πραγματικά κλαίω ήδη τα 2χιλιαρικα που εσκασα

Μετά από αρκετό ψάξιμο κατάλαβα πως δεν είχε γίνει μία ενημέρωση λογισμικού η οποία αφού ολοκληρώθηκε έγινε άλλο μηχάνημα. Κανένα λαγκαρισμα, ταχύτατη επεξεργασία 360 video, μεταφορά αρχείων από κινητό σε λάπτοπ και αντίστροφα με εντυπωσιακό Ρυθμό. Μιυ άλλαξε ολοκληρωτικά την άποψη για το video editing και πιθανότατα θα πάρω άλλο ένα για το γραφείο.

Incredible laptop, one of the most high-quality if not the most high-quality laptop on the market, I have the Macbook pro m4 24GB 1TB SSD, I highly recommend it, for everyday tasks the base macbook pro is more than enough, beyond that, upgrades are only worth it if you do some work that requires it. The base, given that with ~500 euros more than the equivalent air you get better battery, cooling, screen, speakers, and ports, is quite a good deal.
Απίστευτο λάπτοπ , από τα πιο ποιοτικά αν όχι το πιο ποιοτικό λάπτοπ στην αγορά, έχω το Macbook pro m4 24GB 1TB SSD, το συνιστώ ανεπιφύλακτα , για καθημερινά tasks το base macbook pro είναι υπέρ αρκετό , απο εκεί και πέρα αξίζουν τα upgrade μόνο αν κάνεις κάποια δουλειά που το χρειάζεται. Το base με ,δεδομένο πως με ~500 ευρώ παραπάνω απο το αντίστοιχο air παίρνεις καλύτερη μπαταρία , cooling , οθόνη , ηχεία και ports, είναι αρκετά καλή ευκαιρία.
I got the MacBook Pro M4 (base) with 32GB RAM / 1TB SSD mainly for software development.
The tool is perfect for developers. I think the M4 Pro is not necessary despite the extra fans, faster memory data transfer, and higher speed. The regular M4 with the single fan is already enough.
If you deal with video, app development, and generally heavy workloads, don't go for the MacBook Air because it doesn't have fans and when it gets hot, performance drops.
Also, at least 512GB of storage no matter what you do. The system takes up quite a bit of space.
Πήρα το macbook pro m4 (base) με 32GB Ram /1TB SSD κυρίως για ανάπτυξη λογισμικού.
Το εργαλείο είναι τέλειο για developers. Νομίζω ο Μ4 pro δεν χρειάζεται παρά τους περισσότερους ανεμιστήρες, την πιο γρήγορη μεταφορά δεδομένων στη μνήμη και την πιο γρήγορη ταχύτητα. Ο Μ4 απλός με τον 1 ανεμιστήρα είναι ήδη αρκετός.
Εάν ασχολείστε με βίντεο, ανάπτυξη εφαρμογών και γενικά βαριές εργασίες μην πάτε σε Macbook air διότι δεν έχει ανεμιστήρες και όταν ζεσταίνεται πέφτει η απόδοση.
Επίσης, τουλάχιστον 512GB σκληρό ότι και αν κάνετε. Το σύστημα πιάνει αρκετό χώρο.
Unfortunately, I was disappointed... I expected it to be more powerful, faster... but it is not. I have had it for just a month, but it is not what I expected... I use it for image editing as well... I should also mention that I have been a user of this company's products for many years, but in recent years even the iPhones are terrible... the airdrop does not work properly with the other devices, iPhone 15 pro max, iPad pro...
1/7/2025 after 2 months of purchase... it does not turn on... simply unacceptable, 2700 euros MacBook and it does not even turn on....

Δυστυχώς απογοητευτικα ... τον περίμενα πιο δυνατό ,πιο γρήγορο ... όμως δεν είναι, τον έχω μόλις ένα μήνα ,αλλά δεν είναι αυτό που περίμενα ... τον χρησιμοποιώ και την επεξεργασία εικόνας ... επίσης να αναφέρω ότι είμαι κάτοχος για πολλά χρόνια προϊόντων από την εταιρία αυτή , όμως τα τελευταία χρόνια ακόμα και τα iPhone είναι χάλια ... το δε airdrop δεν δουλεύει σωστά με τις υπόλοιπες συσκευές , iPhone 15 pro max, iPad pro ...
1/7/2025 μετά από 2 μήνες αγοράς … δεν ανοίγει … απαράδεκτοι απλά ,2700 ευρώ MacBook και δεν ανοίγει καν ….
